Change Lifestyle and Improve Health!

 

Hello! My name is Cynthia (Cindy) Brooks, and I am a Dr. Sears Prime-Time Health Certified Health Coach.   Today is my very first day-ever- blogging! If you read my story, you know a little bit about me.   Over the weeks and months to come, my blog will provide me a platform for you to get to know me better, and for me to get to know you.

My blog’s mission is to be a source of information and a helpful resource to anyone who desires to get healthy.   So, if you want to lose weight, learn how to better control a disease or illness (diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, etc.), or just to improve overall health, make this the place to visit.   Last, but not least, my blog will reflect what my readers have to say.   Please let me know who you are and what you think.   I welcome your comments.

As I was thinking about what to write for my first post, I thought it would be appropriate to share the results of my recent lab screenings.   I recently had screenings done for cholesterol, triglycerides and glucose.   I am happy to report that all levels were down and in normal range.   I won’t go into a lot of detail, but I will say that my triglycerides level  was lowered to 87 mg/dL and my glucose level went down to 68 mg/dL.   I want you to know that I believe in what I say and do as a health coach.   It would be hypocritical of me to tell you to live a healthy lifestyle and I don’t.    I strongly believe that I must also walk the talk.

The information that I received from The Dr. Sears Wellness Institute was just what I needed to empower me to change my lifestyle and transform my health.   I am proof positive that the tools and information that I received from the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute work.   As a former educator and lifelong learner, I know the importance and value of being informed.   With the right information, you can empower yourself and transform your health.   You can change your health story just like I changed mine.

My goal as a Dr. Sears Prime-Time Health Certified Health Coach is to provide the right health and wellness information-to adults and seniors- so that you TOO can empower yourself and take charge of your own health.
